For several years, I worked as a videographer in India and Ethiopia with Visions Global Empowerment, a non-profit that aims to change patterns of inequality by supporting educational initiatives for youth affected by conflict, poverty, and disability.

This is the first of five videos I co-created on Deafness in Ethiopia, an educational series that now serves as an awareness building tool for the Kal Center for Special Needs in Bahir Dar. (Subtitles also available in Amharic.)
